Head of Sales for the Oil and Gas Group in Zuerich. Leading a team of 8 Account Managers serving Oil and Gas Majors. Main role to lead, support and guide the Account Managers, set Project and Sales strategy, report sales figures/results. Budget responsibility approx 250 mio CHF annually.

Account Manager, serving Oil and Gas majors and contractors such as BP, Shell, Total, SBM, Modec etc. Leading the tendering activities and securing contracts for major rotating equipment for Oil Platforms, FPSO's and on-shore gas plants, with a capital value between 5-50mio CHF.

Performed the installation and commissioning of various types of turbomachinery mainly for on and offshore gas and process plants. Also performed troubleshooting and investigation studies on turbomachinery plant and process systems. These activities were performed in Europe, USA & Canada.

Responsible for the execution and developement of Manufacturing and repair procedures for large steam and gas turbines, inc auxiliary plant for power generation between 30-350MW. These procedures were executed at the Parsons works, & also repairs/overhaul/service were performed on site.

Developed and executed manufacturing and repair procedures and instructions for aircraft jet engine assemblies and components. Mainly for the GE CFM, Snecma and Pratt & Whitney range of jet engines and gas turbines.

During this period, I changed internal departments within Parsons, to the company Toolroom, gaining experience with CNC machining - lathes, milling machines, Jig Boring, (EDM) Wire & spark erosion, CNC programming and also Toolroom inspection, using co-ordinate measuring machines.

I served a four year craft apprenticeship as a Steam Turbine Fitter with former NEI Parsons who manufactured Steam Turbines & Generators from 30-800MW. I worked in the turbine erection shop, auxiliaries shop and on site (at power stations aound the UK) during this 5 year period.
