Over the past years I have mainly worked on carnival costumes, but have done the occassional evening dress too.

Patternmaking for a small skirt wholesale company. All patterns drawn up and graded by hand.

I worked as an freelance illustrator for a small clothing manufacturing company which had just opened- illustrating the ranges, and storyboarding them for potential buyers.

I worked for a local celebrity to update his 'image'. Designing, pattern-making and production of all garments. (Photos available)

I was solely responsible for designing a small range of formal-wear mostly made up in high quality linens. I also drew up all the patterns by hand and oversaw the manufacture of the samples.

As part of my final year, I worked at the State Theatre for a month in various departments including: stage construction, ballet department, costume jewellery and textiles.

In my second year of studies I worked at the 'Afrikaaner Museum' in Johannesburg for a month, restoring periodic costumes.
