Lena Gibson

As a young cyber security engineer, I proudly hold a first-class degree in Physics from the University of Leicester. Currently, I'm on an exciting journey as a cyber security engineer within the Financial Conduct Authority's graduate program. My primary focus centers on cyber security engineering, particularly delving into SIEM tools, vulnerability management, and mastering Kusto Query Language (KQL). My journey at the Financial Conduct Authority has been marked by my passion for developing technical solutions and integrating them with SIEM tools. I've worked on over 5 different integrations, each contributing significantly to our overall security posture. Notably, one of these projects resulted in substantial cost savings by taking advantage of existing infrastructure, showcasing the value of my contributions. My skill set extends to cloud technologies, Linux, and my proficiency in Python, enabling me to craft efficient and innovative solutions.
