My Master Thesis topic was "Optimal Design of Reactive Power Compensation Capability of Solar PV Plants", to investigate optimal compliant design alternatives that supply reactive power support for Solar PV Plants to meet the grid code requirements. Comparison of reactive capability of Inverter compensation solutions versus external reactive compensation equipment's. Research and analysis on the role of FACTS devices (SVC and STATCOM) to satisfy the grid integration requirements

Supporting the Power Engineer in performing and reviewing grid compliance studies; Involved in Inverter Selection and PQ capability analysis; Preparation of Simulation Study reports and technical write up for Solar PV projects; Assisting in checking and reviewing of AC Single Line Diagram; Providing technical suggestion to PV Engineers regarding grid connection issues; Supporting the ET Solar China team for the proposal design of Hybrid System for remote island project.

I underwent a 11 months training as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the project engineering activities of Electrical Projects, wherein I developed good Project management skills. Later, I was posted as a Senior Electrical Engineer wherein I was involved in Traction Substations and Electrification of Metro Rail Project and High Voltage Substations.
