Export mission in Athens Greece: I was mandated by a company called Inov located in Lyon, specialized in interior decoration supplies. My mission was divided in 3 parts: first I had to carry out a market survey for Inov, find, contact and make appointment with Greek retailers and then I had to sell

preparation of simplified transit pro forma invoices, purchase orders, discounts vouchers, maps gray provisional. Preparation of customers files, management of handed vouchers and receipts of payments for different structures, advise and inform customers in the commercial department.

We were contacted by clients who wanted to dispatch their merchandise or goods by air, sea or train. I had to contact carriers, organize shipment, customs, negotiate prices with carriers, and check transport documents such bill of lading.

I was appointed to the Documentary Credit Department which is a payment term used by international companies. I had to check documents (bills, documents of transport, insurance documents…) and if there were discrepancies, the files were sent back to the importer.
