Project was to set up and run service laboratory at John Deere Site in Mannheim. Responsible for fluid, paint and component analysis.

I worked within a multinational global team of scientists, engineers and business managers, on various interdisciplinary projects related to anti-wear and friction modifiers for automotive lubricants. This included designing and synthesising additives, analysing synthetic products, scheduling performance testing for novel formulations and gathering, examining and reporting findings from the data on a regular basis. During this time, I worked on internal patent support and with external companies.

Worked as part of a large multinational team of scientists, including computational chemists, synthetic chemists and biologists focused on the design and synthesis of novel herbicide enzyme inhibitors aided by protein structure based design. Involved design of synthetic routes, preparation of novel heterocyclic precursors and application of several different transition metal catalysed coupling reactions to obtain new products. I gave regular presentations in team meetings and supervised two students.
