Liviu Barbulescu

Inclusiv.ro is Romania’s first Constructive Journalism publication, that was launched as a result of one of the biggest crowdfunding campaigns ever done in Romania Journalism. My role there is to document, write and produce Video explainers.

I am a Graphic Designer with a focus on explanatory animations. I have been writing, drawing and animating videos for over six years. In addition, I create illustrations, posters, layouts and infographics for a wide variety of customers. My portfolio and demo reel is available at liviu.berlin

In November 2015, amidst massive anti-corruption protests, sparked by a terrible fire at a nightclub in Bucharest, the Prime Minister of Romania at the time, Victor Ponta, resigned. In his place a technocratic non-political government was formed. During 2016 I worked as a Graphic Designer for the The Ministry for Public Consultation and Civic Dialog, part of this technocratic government. My responsibilities were to create Social Media Posts and Layouts for the publications of the Ministry.

I was one of the co-founders of the artist-run space/house - project The CAN (The Collective Art Neighbourhood) in Bucharest, Romania. We organized art events and hosted Artists in Residence from all over the world.
