My career at Oshkosh Defense was focused on weld processes on the advanced manufacturing team. I was further introduced to welding, automation, and large scale manufacturing processes as well as new product development. I was fortunate in my time at Oshkosh Defense to lead various new product launch projects. I worked cross functionally with design, purchasing, scheduling, quality, and operations teams to achieve quality, delivery, and cost goals.

During my time as a machinist a J. Stadler Machine Inc. (JSM) I learned how to operate and program CNC machines. One of my main jobs was to program and setup new jobs; I was responsible for interpreting engineering prints, program Mazak machines, and produce quality parts that met high levels of precision. Although I had no machining experience prior to my employment with JSM I quickly learned the necessary skills and became a highly valued member of the JSM team.

graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville in 2021 with a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree and a final GPA of 3.4. As a student of UW-P I experienced a hands on approach to develop engineering knowledge in a variety of industrial topics; including manufacturing practices, design of mechanical components, design of thermodynamic systems, electrical circuits/controls, material sciences, and more.
