Responsible for an O.E.M. production line producing $10M/year in fluid flow control devices for the Automotive, Medical and Semi-conductor industries. Full responsibility for creating standard work, metrology standards, conducting training, MRB disposition, ECN approvals, ISO auditing, FMEAs, CAPAs and meeting corporate Lean manufacturing goals.

Supervised 4 engineers and kept schedule on projects integrating SCADA systems that automatically collect tolls on toll roads. Designed to NEC and NEMA standards. Systems included PCI/ISA Pentium chip set CPU boards, 100B T Ethernet, SCSI and IDE hard drives, flat panel displays and microwave transceivers. Developed ACCESS database for preferred and alternate parts.

Prioritized and assigned tasks to introduce 5 new telecommunication products per year and to reduce cost of the 3 highest volume products. Developed excellent interpersonal skills with Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Quality managements to introduce only profitable products. Developed procedures for the release and control of electronic documentation resulting in less document errors and more efficient distribution of documents company-wide.

Responsible for installation, modification, service and supporting customer application of 45 high speed Pharmaceutical production machines. Promoted parts and service which totaled $500,000/yr.

Redesigned Automatic Test Station to provide testing of new functions in Military Communication Systems. Succeeded in keeping project under budget and completing hardware debug on schedule.

Redesigned circuit board in U.S. Navy Radar Display System to increase real-time display of Alpha-numeric symbols from 1024 to 1860 total symbols and increase pixel rate from 20 to 40 MHz. Performed hardware and firmware debug of 8085 based microprocessor card used in computer operator console.
