“Plasma Flow for unsteadiness characterization” The goal of this project was to study the possible application and the effects of plasma actuators on flow control over a compressor blade airfoil profile. This kind of devices can be used for flow control by promoting boundary-layer attachment. A thorough analysis of the flow and consequently boundary layer separation phenomenon in the NACA 65 (12A10)06 profile was accomplished using a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software (NUMECA).
