Responsibilities: • Teaching Program of network technology and operating systems • Study and determine the need for infrastructure to support information technology and Audio Visual in the activities of the Institute • Efficiently and reliably manage the operations of the institute’s data centers in accordance with best practices and standards • Managing the operations of network technologies in offices and training laboratories at the Institute • Managing and monitoring network operations in the institute.

• My Responsibilities in the Network Team are as follows: • Switching: Network consists of about 100 edge, 6 distributors and core switch. Configuring and maintain Foundry core switch , Layer 2&3 3Com & Cisco switches • Routing: Configuring and maintaining Cisco Routers. • Network Security: Cisco PIX Firewall, Cisco Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Symantec Gateway Security “SGS “. • IP Telephony: - Configuring and maintaining 3Com NBX and IP Phones.

1-Managing assigned Fiber Optic Network projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of the project. Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems 2-Fiber Optic Cable planning, design, measurement, testing, and maintenance. 3-Fiber Optic Cable installation. 4-Terminating, maintenance like Fusion and Mechanical Splicing. 5-Handling the testing equipment like OTDR and Power Loss Test.
