Development of Battery Smart Cell Housing System • Developed and implemented ASPICE process for system (SYS) and software (SWE) processes to achieve ASPICE Level 1 requirements. • Conducted technology investigations on wireless battery communication, protoypes, data dashboard for EVs. • Performed Functional Safety (HARA) and Cybersecurity (TARA) analyses for EV battery cell monitoring systems. • Developed System and Software Architecture for battery cell monitoring system on Enterprise Architect.

ADAS Project with Driving, Parking and Driver Monitoring Functions • Led a team of system architects for a large-scale ADAS project, serving as the primary technical point of contact for the Indiabased team. • Provided technical leadership, plan, delegate, and track tasks using Agile methodologies, including PI planning and Scrum based sprint planning. • Led end-to-end requirements management; managed and developed stakeholder requirements, system requirements for system of system ADAS functions.

ADAS - Driving, Parking & Driver Monitoring System: • Developed system-of-systems architecture for ADAS functions using MBSE and SPES framework, modeling using SysML. • Architecture documentation using arc42 template with Sphinx (reStructuredText), version-controlled in Git, integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Radar & Front Video Camera System: • Performed system impact analysis for degradation strategy, developed and maintained system requirements, HSI spec, architecture diagrams, and customer documentation.

Development of Redundant Brake System (RBU) and Automatic Park Brake (APB Mi): • Coordinated system-level test activities across MiL, SiL, and HiL environments to validate active safety system functionalities and performance. • Developed test plans outlining objectives, scope, methods, and resource requirements to ensure thorough validation of system functionality and integration. • System requirements development and maintenance, customer reported defect investigation and resolution for APBMi system.

System Development for Redundant Brake Unit (RBU): • Developed system-level requirements for RBU used in Autonomous Vehicle capable of L2/L3 functions. • Developed system architecture design specification considering design decisions, design constraints, KPIs, system components and its interfaces. • Developed system concept for safety monitoring, degradation, wake-up, shutdown and state management. • Performed ETA for brake system components and E/E Architecture failures to identify the potential risk.

Software Development for ECU Production: • Developed ECU software requirements for plant production software in Doors. • Designed AUTOSAR software modules to enable early detection of production and component failures. • Created and maintained detailed software architecture using Enterprise Architect. • Led cross domain prototype project for porting safety-critical software (ESP) to Steering ECU. • Provided technical leadership for ECU software team in rapid prototyping of ABS system for off-road vehicles.

• Led a microcontroller selection process & conducted technical evaluations of uC RFQ proposals from suppliers. • Developed functional and safety software for next-generation brake system on multicore embedded platforms based on AUTOSAR. • Implemented safety mechanisms based on safe backbone architecture to achieve ASIL D compliance. • Investigated and resolved ECU failures from plant, 0km, and field. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Software Development for Active Safety Systems: • Developed functional and safety-critical software for active safety systems (ABS, ESP, IPB, iBooster, APBMi) on embedded ECUs, compliant with ISO 26262 ASIL D. • Designed and developed low-level drivers, engineered ECU safety features covering watchdogs, OS task monitoring, and cyclic/startup diagnostics. • Integrated and validated software interfaces for safety-critical sensors and switches. • Performed debugging, defect analysis, and root cause resolution.
