Employed to manage a wide variety of network implementation projects for large telecom providers, using PMI methods and tools to ensure delivery as planned while maximizing customer satisfaction.

As a CM team leader I planned and organized the local work of 5 Configuration Management engineers. With Telefónica as our main client at the time, our team obtained the best results on the client-side evaluations for 2 years in a row (2008 and 2009). Trained new CM and NOC engineers in Brazil /Venezuela and gave support to various international teams on their operations.

Implemented frequent changes on the GSM mobile network configuration and co-operated with customers and different internal units to ensure the integrity of the network, systems and platforms. As a CM engineer I also played a key role assisting the trouble-solving activities in the local Network Operation Centre and gave support to other NOCs within Latin America. Gained in depth knowledge of mobile networks (2G, 3G, GPRS) through several training courses.

As the company was partner of several manufacturers like Cisco, Sun Microsystems and Micromuse (IBM), I managed diverse IT / telecom projects that involved the design, implementation and support of tailored solutions for companies like Citibank, CANTV, Atento, Banco del Caribe, all of them with outstanding technical results and clients evaluation.

Researched, designed and installed VoIP solutions to support the growth of the business nationally and internationally. Performed configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco-based IP platforms (WAN /LAN). Gained proficiency on IOS, IPT, PIX, Call Manager, IVR, several routing protocols, Firewalls and basic telephony. Successfully leaded a major project for the implementation of the new signaling scheme (R2 to SS7) on the whole network.

Designed and developed several multimedia elements (training software, videogames, web pages, interactive video) used by clients like Merck, Roche and Pfizer; all based on Macromedia Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Performed the IT and Local Area Network administration for the communications center.

Designed and translated to Spanish, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) courses to be distributed on several banks across Latin America.
