Advised academics and high-net-worth clients on long-term wealth building: investments, insurance, retirement planning, and tax-efficient structures. This is where I first saw how often "gut feeling" beats data in private finance, and how much value disciplined, rule-based decision-making creates over time. It directly shaped how I think about systematic trading and AI today: clear processes, transparent risk, and decisions that hold up when emotions don't.

Structured trainee programme at Horbach Wirtschaftsberatung (part of the Continentale group), specialised in independent financial planning for academics, executives and high-net-worth private clients. Academy-style training combined with on-the-job client work, covering the full spectrum of holistic financial advisory at a partner-level standard.

Co-founded MATE, a Berlin-based consumer app: a personal companion designed to motivate first, then learn the user's habits and routines and turn them into personalised tips, prompts and everyday shortcuts. Founded in my final year of university and operated out of Berlin for about two years. Long before today's AI wave, this meant building self-learning behaviour from first principles, going deep on programming, data architecture, databases, user modelling and product analytics.

Dual technical-advisory and design role at a UK-based fire-protection engineering consultancy serving industrial, logistics and commercial clients across Greater Manchester and the wider North-West. Worked at the intersection of consultative engineering and hands-on mechanical design: advising clients on the safest, code-compliant and most cost-efficient sprinkler concept, then translating those decisions into fully-engineered systems.

Engineering internship at a UK-based sprinkler-protection contractor and design house, combining client-facing technical consulting with detailed mechanical design and project management on live commercial fire-protection schemes. Worked end-to-end: from initial client briefing and risk-based consultancy through engineered design and on-site delivery, with direct exposure to clients, consultants and contractors at every stage.

Weekend tour-guiding role at jomotours GmbH, a Stuttgart-based premium coach-travel operator running curated city breaks, alpine ski trips, event journeys and group tours across Europe for private travellers, families, clubs and corporate groups. Responsible end-to-end for the on-the-ground guest experience: from greeting the group at departure through guiding, logistics and on-trip problem solving until safe return.

Structured cross-functional engineering internship at WOLFFKRAN, one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-capacity tower cranes for industrial construction and infrastructure projects. Designed as a rotation through multiple engineering departments (mechanical design, calculation, production engineering, work preparation, quality assurance and shop-floor operations), giving a 360° view of how a complex, safety-critical product is engineered and manufactured.

Mechanical engineering programme with a strong focus on design, calculation and applied physics, combining classical mechanical engineering with a one-year exchange at Northumbria University (Newcastle, UK) and several hands-on engineering placements (WOLFFKRAN, AD Sprinkler Protection, Ecotect Fire Suppression). Core topics: technical mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, CAD / 3D modelling, design methodology, manufacturing technology, control engineering and engineering mathematics.

Pre-university year abroad in Cape Town, South Africa: immersive English-language programme combined with intercultural experience before starting my Mechanical Engineering studies at Hochschule Heilbronn. Focus on academic and business English, intercultural communication and independent living in a globalised environment. The foundation for my today's C2-level English and the calm, curious approach I bring to international clients in trading and AI.
