- Assessed the degree of deterioration of two historic buildings using non-destructive methods, such as visual inspection and infrared thermography (IR). - Co-authored a scientific paper highlighting the applicability of thermography in built heritage preservation.

- Wrote and presented three research articles in the fields: construction materials, hydrology and structures. - Provided a welcoming and informative experience to new students at the Civil Engineering undergraduation program. - Tutored undergraduate students during four semesters on specific subjects, such as Construction Materials, Resistance of Materials, Bridges Design and Concrete Structures Design.
