Worked at the research project “Metering and control infrastructure for optimization of energy consumptions”. ▪ Realized a real-time microcontroller-based smart meter ▪ Performed the metrological characterization of the smart meter ▪ Implemented communication protocols for the integration of different systems over the same network

Worked at the research project “Multiutility measurement system for energy consumptions monitoring” ▪ Implemented metrics for accurate power and energy measurements in non-sinusoidal conditions ▪ Designed techniques to guarantee acquisition synchronized with fundamental frequency on the grid ▪ Developed measurement algorithms to allow for bidirectional power measurements

Worked at the research project “Measurement systems and devices for application of Demand Side Management programs”. ▪ Developed algorithms for automated management of load curtailments following energy market prices ▪ Implemented the developed management strategy into an AMI architecture ▪ Coordinated project presentation and final demonstration
