Geographic Information System (GIS); Technical support of the creation of the “Aguas do Alto Minho”, a intermunicipal company of water supply and waste water of the region of Alto Minho, working with politicians, experts in the water business field and experienced engineers;

Using solvent producing bacterias, it was tested ABE fermentations (production of acetone, butanol and ethanol) in a laboratory scale (50 mL flasks). Being this bacterias stricktly anaerobic, everything had to be done in the absent of the oxygen. It has been developed and tested some techniques of liberation of the formed gas. It was determined the amount produced of solvents and acids that resulted from the fermentation, sugars and other products, using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Cromatography) and GC.
