Maria Burmeister

At CRAFTBOXX, I played a pivotal role in shaping frontend development practices as the first dedicated frontend developer. I led the migration of a significant PHP/Laravel application to modern technologies, established coding conventions, and implemented automated testing frameworks. My contributions enhanced product analytics and promoted best practices in frontend engineering, significantly improving the development process.

As a Junior developer I worked in an multidisciplinary team developing features to a Digital Product in a fast- paced agile environment. I took part in every part of development process, from discovery to release to maintenance. I was an active, eager and creative contributor.

As an Intern at Claimsforce I had the opportunity to develop an isolated project under the mentorship of an experienced engineer, covering concepts which prepared me to later become a full-time junior hire at the same company. During this time, I had my first contact with concepts such as Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, as well as technologies such as GraphQL as opposed to REST API's, CSS Frameworks, Firebase as well as a first look at AWS CloudFormation and AWS services.
