Reporting to sVP of Research and sVP of Translational Medicine. Member of Translational Medicine leadership team. Developed and Implemented Program Portfolio Management methodology to prioritize investments. Government liaison for research grants requests. Selected suppliers and handled contract negotiations. Three direct reports.

Created and managed the European Digestive Motility Centre to investigate severe and rare disorders of gastrointestinal motility. Created a European database of rare digestive diseases (104 patients - 10 countries as of 2006). Selected suppliers and negotiated contracts.

Responsible for international clinical trials (phases III and IV) that generated 60% of the company’s revenues. Managed the internal management of resources to meet customers’ needs within the agreed time. Led follow-up and pre-sale meetings of the projects. Designed and implemented the tools necessary to manage the internal processes of the company. Oversaw four direct reports and reported to the CEO.

Responsible for electronic data transfer of 25 global clients and 56 research projects in Europe, US, South Africa and Australia
