Managing the EMEA Legal Team up to 28 lawyers across EMEA to develop collaboration between the lawyers and bring consistency to the legal services across the markets. Assisting the markets in EMEA (M&A, commercial contract negotiations, litigation management, supervision and evaluation of outside counsels, IP/IT) and assisting the Global team in negotiating international media services agreements and other deals with major suppliers.

Creation of the UK & Global Legal Department implementing (i) process for approval and signature of contracts, (ii) template agreements (media services, media purchases T&Cs), (iii) legal trainings to bring awareness of the legal issues to the business. Negotiating international media services agreements and other deals with major suppliers (media owners; adservers, etc).

Drafting and negotiating agreements in relation to commercial law (mandates for buying media space, audiovisual production, editing, cultural and sporting partnerships, press distribution, events, web site creation, licensing, endorsement, etc); advising on advertising law; trademark portfolio management.

• Drafting agreements in relation to advertising (buying media space, partnerships and agreements relating to advertising space arising out of relationships with foreign broadcasters); • Advising on audiovisual regulations, consumer law and competition law; • Assisting in the conduct of litigation relating to commercial law.

• Advising clients on the protection of Intellectual Property rights (copyright, trade mark, design) and the regulation of the Internet (advertisement, contracts concluded with consumers, data protection, domain names, etc); • Drafting, negotiating and customising agreements in relation to Information Technology law; • Due diligence in the areas of IP and IT law; • Assisting in the conduct of litigation relating to IP and IT law.
