Café Pink is visited by the girls that live, study nearby and others invited by the café crew, like refugee Girls. My function there was to receive these girls in there, show them the space and instruct them in how they could use it by explaining the agenda and the workshops. Besides that I was also responsible for the cooking group and helped the girls do their homework or simply spend some time in there doing art or toher things according to their interest and need.

Workshops with teenagers after school time, like cooking workshop and games.

Helping with the web site of the Gender Studies department, though webdesign, content research and translation. Also support in the preparation of didatic material.

Bartending was one the actvities in the Job, besides that we would also manage the space collectively. Therefore we had meetings to discuss how to do it and then as a Working Group do what was needed, from ordering drinks to hiring.

At this course I had the chance to learn German and to improve my skills on my mother tongue, Portuguese, by studying linguistics, translation and literature. I also had the chance to improve my translations skills by taking extra classes on the English department.
