Oversaw the operation of the business while gaining further experience of telecoms and internet connectivity provision. Instituted widespread program of automation in our server deployments and customer support.

Managed this small IT business while bringing VoIP products to the portfolio resulting in an 80% increase in turnover. Developed bespoke CRM connectors for our customers’ call centre and office phone systems while saving local companies as much as 50% on their telecoms costs.

Developed and deployed our call centre system, VoIPWorks, to customers across central Scotland. Learned best practice in both software development and network architecture.

Gained important business and customer service experience running my first business. Provided an excellent IT call out service to both individuals and businesses within central Scotland. The only business in the area at the time providing same day fix of computer faults. Runner up small Scottish business of the year 2004 as awarded by the Prince's Scottish Youth business trust.
