Martin Aulbach

As Scientific Editor at the largest international scientific publishing company in the Asia-Pacific region, I monitor all stages of the publication process of science journals and books (Physics and Mathematics), and actively engage with authors, editorial board members and reviewers. My daily work also encompasses copyright considerations, the identification of novel scientific results and the reformulation of research breakthroughs in layman terms (science journalism).

As a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (Research Centre of Excellence, hosted at the National University of Singapore, Asia's No. 1 University in 2014 rankings), I pursued research in the area of quantum information theory and published several research papers. In addition to undertaking research, I performed administrative IT duties and promoted research to the wider public via science journalism (e.g. http://www.quantumblah.org).

As an International Research Student in the Quantum Information Theory group of Prof. Mio Murao, I familiarized myself with the area of Quantum Information Theory and gained my first active research experience in this field.
