5 direct+70 indirect reports @ budget €12M. Direct production of CFRP parts, carbon fabrics and wet friction materials for the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Eng. and Wind industries. Oversee continuous technology innovation to maintain cutting-edge production standards. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Turning a loss-making and stagnating business into a profitable business with a double digit CAGR within only 3 years. Productivity & efficiency: +15%. Relocation of 2 large automotive production lines.

Implementation, harmonization and continuous improvement of a Global cross-site Quality Management and Quality Assurance System including all Laboratories for Business Unit Carbon Fibers & Composite Materials. Ensure appropriate certifications required by standards ISO 9001:2008, AS / EN 9100:2009 and ISO / TS 16949:2009.

Identification, management, coaching and financial controlling of various highly demanding LEAN / Six Sigma projects in the UK and Germany achieving sustainable minimum cost savings of € .5M per project. Trainings in Six Sigma and LEAN methodology. Management of international standardization / improvement / KAIZEN workshops.

Directed the start-up of a prototype production facility for high-performance ceramic composite brake discs for luxury cars such as Audi, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.

Managed all quality assurance processes in the automotive sector for the production of large series carbon brushes for electric motors. Instituted and achieved certification for automotive standard ISO / TS 16949.

Designed carbon fiber reinforced ceramic brake discs for use in BMW automobiles and developed processes to improve manufacturing quality and efficiency. Implemented non-destructive methods to effectively test composite materials.
