Promoting the use of alternative, healthy & environmentally sustainable low-cost technologies for cooking and lighting in Malawi, through community trainings, renewable energy demonstration sites, "powered by nature" shops, production and spreading of science/experimenting kits for school children, facilitation of access to low-cost construction kits for solar ovens and biogas digesters, etc.

Consulting and supporting rural Malawian stakeholders in establishing a private social enterprise (mushroom/spawn production & nutrition enhancement trainings) and set-up of a cooperative for mushroom producers; marketing/PR and financial planning. Aims: additional income sources for small-scale farmers, encouragement of entrepreneurial activity, enhancement of knowledge transfer regarding healthier nutrition

Feasibility assessments for firewood/charcoal replacement in the context of existing reforestation attempts; concept development and fund-raising for NGOs and CBOs; systematic introduction of lighting&cooking alternatives to rural areas (solar, biomass and plant oil technologies); pilot project panning & implementation; management of pilot project for community based solar lamp rental/recharging stations to spread light in non-electrified areas and raise income for underfinanced common-good institutions

Development of concepts and preparation/ implementation of projects related to mobile money, mobile banking, branchless banking, electronic payments, cahsless POS, enhancement of micro-finance / micro-loan in rural areas of Malawi, Financial Inclusion of the marginalized population, Banking the Unbanked, etc.

Evaluation of inter- and intradepartmental structures, operational bottlenecks, strategy development and implementation planning; redefinition, visualization and communication to increase compliance with Conditions of Service, workflows etc.

Introduction of primary and pre-school teachers and rural communities to potentials, production and use of new energy technolgies, through lectures and practical workshops.

Researching and responding to CfPs of international donors (UN agencies, EU), creating/revising concept papers and proposals for existing and new projects/program branches, evaluating cooperation potentials with NGOs, corresponding with endorsement institutions and government bodies.

Lecturer at a TTC for rural primary school teachers, Supervisor at a community outreach project in the field of Early Childhood Development (consultancy for a network of 23 rural preschools), and Trainer for informal education activities (on organic agriculture and health/hygiene/nutrition improvement)
