I worked as Full-Stack Developer migrating a C# web application to Rust. The tasks I worked on writing new endpoints. I helped in the Frontend where we used ReactJS and TypeScript. I also support the team with the dev-ops workload (we’re using Azure, Ansible and Terraform). Another part of the role involves trying to help to improve the processes regarding the flow that the team worked on: heavy work in writing documentation, onboarding new developers and turning into code some customer support tasks.

We were changing the way that CI/CD was being done and splitting properly the services that could be in different applications and providing the proper infrastructure. I try to make a difference bringing awareness about clean code and testing, improving the quality of the code to reduce the time that is spent trying to understand pieces of code before change it. I’m always “bothering” the Product Owner to give us time to automate tasks (in any level of the development process) that was being repeated.

In FITec as a Software Engineer. I participated in a distributed team between 3 countries to migrate an existent software, that deals with video processing, to be a service (to AWS - Amazon Web Services). We also create one Grails application to this system with a lot of new features.
