Title of Diploma Thesis: Using magnetic methods for reservoir characterization of the Buntsandstein, Early Triassic, Central Germany". Use of geomagnetic methods to determine a relation between geomagnetic parameters such as magn. susceptibility, natural remanent magnetization and petrophysical parameters, e.g. porosity and permeability. Furthermore, an anisotropic study was used to estimate depositional direction and associated depositional environment of sandstones of the Bockenem A100 core.
