Monitored global urea markets and built a strong network of suppliers and customers worldwide. Developed Excel tools used daily by traders: freight monitoring, transaction calculation (duties, commissions, payment terms, FX) and position monitoring.

Supported back-office and finance operations, coordinating invoice follow-up, transaction documentation and communication with the CFO. Monitored invoices and developed an Excel tracking tool to help the team follow up on outstanding items and deadlines. Liaised with the CFO and, when required, directly with banking partners in Geneva. Prepared and followed up on back-office transaction files. Assisted a trader, gaining practical knowledge of commodity trading practices and workflows.

Gained hands-on experience in shipping, developing an understanding of market practices, operational processes and industry terminology. Learned how to match cargo requirements with suitable vessels. Handled laytime calculations over several months. Contributed to drafting a new charter party agreement.

Supported the Group CFO with day-to-day invoice processing and communication with banking partners. Developed practical knowledge of Incoterms and trade finance documentation, helping prepare complete and structured financing files for submission to banks.
