As of right now I am working as a work package leader on the European project Exsothyc, were the focus is set on developing catalyst coated diaphragms with optimal performance, long-term stability, and operational safety. In the past, I was working on the ALKALICOAT project, which overall goal was to reduce the cost of green hydrogen production. The project aimed to improve the interplay between anodes, cathodes and membranes in the electrolysers, thus enhancing their performance and making them cheaper.

Development and application of correlative 2D/3D spectroscopic techniques to investigate the sorption of rare earth elements and radionuclides onto heterogeneous crystalline rock surfaces dependent on surface parameters such as surface chemistry, topography, and roughness. Data treatment and evaluation was performed with Python based scripts.

Development of a measurement cell to observe complexation of uranium with halides and uranium redox reactions with organic compounds via UV/Vis and laser spectroscopy with following data treatment and analysis.

Synthesis and purification of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) (and their necessary reagents) for gas and fluorescent molecule adsorption.
