Über mich
Chemist and scientist with skill sets within the fields of environmental & modern energy research and technology. I am a doctoral candidate awaiting my doctoral defense. I have a passion for inorganic chemistry, surface chemistry, geochemistry, and spectroscopy as well as a deep running interest for sustainable energy technology, where I seek to further develop my knowledge and skills. Currently, I am part of the ALKALICOAT project, an electrochemistry project seeking to reduce the cost of green hydrogen production from alkaline water electrolysis. In the past, I was involved in an interdisciplinary Helmholtz project called "iCross", which aimed to perform upscaling of molecular knowledge in a geochemistry context from the nanometer to the kilometer scale.

PhD Student/Research Associate
Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf
Development and application of correlative 2D/3D spectroscopic techniques to investigate the sorption of rare earth elements and radionuclides onto heterogeneous crystalline rock surfaces dependent on surface parameters such as surface chemistry, topography, and roughness. Data treatment and evaluation was performed with Python based scripts.
