I am a DPhil student in Mathematical Biology and Applied Algebra supervised by Heather Harrington, Thomas Woolley and Eamonn Gaffney. I use a a wide range of mathematical modelling techniques such as stochastic differential equations and geometric invariants to describe biological systems. Numerical simulations complement my theoretical findings.

I was in charge of managing the Mountaineering Club which has ~250 active members. Duties included timetabling events, managing a 13 person committee, inviting speakers, introducing beginners to rock climbing, managing legal obligations of the club and finding sponsorship. During my time as president I secured a 2-year, £7000 sponsorship deal with a Chinese outdoor clothing company.

My duties a president included inviting high profile speakers and managing their visit to Oxford and overseeing the general running of a 80-member club. Speaker events I managed were Alexander Van Der Bellen, Hans-Jörg Schelling, Alfed Gusenbauer, Hans Peter Haselsteiner, Peter Habeler, Clemens Renoldner, etc.

Research intern in glaciology. I co-developed large scale computational studies in Python to determine centre lines of glaciers. I was also involved in field work to e.g. built meteorological stations on glaciers.

Research intern. I developed computational experiments in C to study fluctuation-dissipation theorems.
