Network Services is a distribution cooperative serving customers across North America. Drove implimentation of business strategy by agile use of appropriate technology and business processes. Designed, built and and rolled out suite of supply chain and e-business systems that transformed company's business model from old line distributor to value added provider of products, information and supply chain services.

Covansys was international management consulting and IT services firm where I reported to the vice president of 340-person Chicago office. Responsible for $4.5 million in revenue with 30% of compensation based on meeting performance objectives. Concentration in e-commerce; large projects usually included programming teams based at company facility in India.

Over 18 month period took on short term assignments with three different firms. Worked on development of information systems practice for public accounting firm; established Chicago sales office for software vendor; managed system design and implementation project for consulting firm

Hired by Anixter VP of Worldwide Operations to start up, train and manage a group of business analysts and system designers within existing 100-person information services department. Led development of global sales support system. Worked with senior management of this international distributor of wiring systems and components for data, voice and video networks to formulate technology plans to support their major business initiatives.
