Michael Krygier

Key member of the Cyber Command executive team, responsible for building a new division to protect New York City's Urban Technologies including: Elections in New York City, Critical Infrastructure - freshwater and wastewater, bridges, tunnels, ports, traffic intersections, and building industrial control systems (ICS), and 9-1-1 call centers, Smart City/Internet of Things (IoT). Led the citywide vulnerability management and application security program 70 city agencies covering 300,000+ systems.

Acting as a trusted advisor to CIOs and CISO, I led cybersecurity engagements including: security program and strategy assessments, "crown jewel" threat and risk assessments, cyber incident response tabletops, incident response preparedness assessments, and cloud security framework development for clients in several industries, including pension funds, government, technology, metals and mining, utilities, and banking.

Headhunted to create and lead the IT security function due to growing threats against law firms and their clients.

Led the Global IT Security department during a transformation period while overseeing 11 regional security officers based out of the USA, Europe, Asia, and Latin America

Designed, presented, and delivered information security solutions to clients in financial services, hedge funds, retail, pharmaceutical, family offices, etc.
