Team leader, reporting to the COO for IT Infrastructure in Enterprise Services for EMEA in Germany. Responsibilities include the overall leadership for the Demand Management to IT infrastructure services outsourced to IBM and the management of the central processes from Germany into the EMEA region. Manage a team of 8 people in Eschborn, Germany.

Globally manage the relationship between IT Infrastructure and their clients. Programme and Project manage initiatives culminating in successful and timely delivery of technology systems within allocated budgets. Advise and lead on the strategic adoption of new technologies in the business. Monitor and control the delivery of service from Infrastructure. Responsible for the Desktop Support and Enterprise Services of “non trading” CIB departments in Germany.

Managed the operations of the Lotus Notes environment for CIB in Germany, integrating Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Poland and rolling out the global standards for messaging in these countries. Close working relationship with Global Head of CIB messaging as well as with peers in UK, US and Australia.

Managed the support team for Global Corporate Finance in London. Achievements included: • Provided the management of the London desktop support teams. • Support of all European GCF offices without dedicated on-site support staff. • Project managed the deployment of Windows NT3.5 desktops to all GCF users in UK • Restructured and lead a team of 20 people. • Reported to the Global Head of Corporate Finance IT.

Project managed desktop and server projects for GCF in Frankfurt. Achievements included: • Desktop migration from OS/2 to NT3.51 • Move and integration of Morgan Grenfell Germany into GCF Frankfurt • Rollout of presentation templates for MS Office suite • Trained and developed staff in the use of desktop IT systems • Dedicated PBX and voicemail system for GCF in Frankfurt • Reported to Regional Head of GCF IT in Frankfurt

Project management and development / implementation of client server environments. Achievements included: • Development of a Telex/Teletex/FAX communications server. • Implementation of an OS/2 client server infrastructure.
