The goal of SwissShrimp is to be first on Swiss Market selling fresh shrimp. The shrimp is cultivated in a closed saltwater raceway. The euhaline water is heated by alternative heat sources. In Summer 2015 we successfully finished the pilot phase by operating a small scale shrimp farm in Luterbach (SO) for research and development purposes. Currently, we are planning a shrimp farm to produce 60 tons/year in Rheinfelden (CH).
