A senior member of the Windows Application and virtualisation team within the Architecture and Engineering department with a major focus on desktop visualisation (VDI). Responsible for VDI project initiation, technical design, POC, UAT and the later transformation of a technology into a product offering. DB‟s VDI estate is currently 5000 virtual desktops with planned growth in 2009 to 9000 seats. Responsible for VDI project stream in the Green IT computing project - the first carbon neutral headquarters.

A senior member of Windows platform team responsible for setting up an engineering function within Europe with a major focus on Server consolidation project using VMware VI3 - project initiation, design, project management and collaboration with US engineering teams on Citrix farm extension to Europe.

A senior member of the system engineering team responsible for designing and integration of various systems into a corporate environment. VMware architect for VI3 farm hosting 400+ production servers, VDI and various Citrix design and upgrade projects. Designed a strategic consolidation programme called “Unity” – Global Citrix design based on MPS3 and Windows 2003 platform transforming infrastructure from 29 offices into 3 Hubs. Global resilient Citrix design including DR and three zones (Europe, US, Asia)

A founder and director of a specialised application packaging and IT services company. The company had achieved 750.000 EUR in the third year of it's existence with 10 employees. A product GPMS packaging workflow was resold through Symantec's 3rd party list. Software Product manager responsible for outsourced SW development and pre-sales of packaging workflow software. This role was only part-time (evenings, weekends).

Seconded to London for 2 years to design, transform and implement strategic programme into thin office architecture for the new „Omnia‟ matter-centric Web based Hummingbird DM, Citrix thin client & Elite Financials systems. Crucial to the role was deploy discrete work streams of change and technically coordinate distributed project teams (travelling to sites), whilst being responsible for carrying out the enterprise design, integration & deployment of new WAN, Web & Citrix based remote application infra.

From a part time student in support role in the Prague office to the Senior Technical Analyst role for Central and Eastern Europe. Core member of International XP Project team, based 6 months in London. Migration of NT4 environment into Windows XP, Active Directory. Main part of the role was to migrate existing NT4 desktops and Server infrastructures to Windows 2000/2003 based setups.On client secondment to HSBC working on deign, implementation and support of the first e-dataroom in Eastern Europe.
