Dipl.-Ing. Michele Cecchini

The Head of Business Management will lead the hybrid and electric drive business fields and work closely with colleagues to define new products and new market opportunities. My primary responsibilities are to manage the hybrid and electric business assuring the expected profit levels and to define strategy following the vision and mission of McLaren. A particular focus on strategy development is put to manage all products market correctly and develop alliances, customers and scalable business.

My activities are linked to the creation of new business models, the development of business plans in the automotive world and the creation of new business approaches for highly innovative engineering services in the automotive market. My main responsibilities are to define business plans for targeted projects and then to verify, following the first stage of implementation, the economic potential of the strategy and the reaction of the customer and the market.

The business unit consists of three activities: selling cars, organizing events and managing of the product for the best Ferrari’s customers. It is a niche market with strategic importance for the company in terms of customer relations, marketing, product sales and relationship with dealers. As head of this business unit, my responsibilities are related to commercial, after-sales, event planning, logistics, administration, purchasing and production aspects managing a team of 40 people.
