• Led the architectural evolution of the automated merchant configuration platform, extending cross-domain product and system configuration rules while improving maintainability, testability, and performance of the DAG-based workflow engine. • Contributed to team growth by supporting recruitment and mentoring engineers in domain modeling, workflow design, and distributed systems practices.

• Architected and implemented the Merchant Self-Onboarding MVP using actor-based concurrency and event sourcing to provide resilient, fault-isolated processing under high concurrency (Java, Akka, Cassandra, Vue.js). • Architected a domain-driven Merchant Onboarding Platform, consolidating requirements from four business units into bounded contexts with autonomous workflows. Designed an event-driven orchestration layer using BPMN to coordinate long-running processes, ensuring domain isolation.

• Developed an automated merchant configuration service integrating 20+ products with complex rules across 100+ system configurations, reducing merchant configuration time from days to minutes and enabling rapid onboarding of large merchants. • Designed and implemented a DAG-based dataflow workflow engine modeling configuration rules as dependency graphs, supporting persistent, restartable long-running workflows, graph-level failure inspection, and horizontally scalable execution across a HA cluster.

• Directed the design and implementation of an extensible enterprise portal using SOA and modular architectural principles to support rapid feature delivery (Java,Oracle, GWT-driven SPA, SSO). • Architected and implemented an extended hierarchical RBAC system combining role and organizational-unit hierarchies to enforce fine-grained, resource-scoped authorization across portal features (Oracle/PLSQL with transitive-closure graph optimization for high-performance evaluation, Java service layer).

• Led design and implementation of the Giropay payment service with an extensible architecture to support seamless integration of future payment methods. • Integrated multiple fraud-prevention services into a high-performance, highly available unified web service with configurable rules to support diverse merchant requirements. • Developed integrations with multiple external acquirer services for credit card payments, enabling standardized, efficient onboarding of new acquirers. • Co-designed and implemented an embedded C++-to-C translator with DS51-specific extensions, enabling object-oriented development on microcontrollers, built using standard C++ libraries.
