- Improved and expanded exercises for a lecture on Data & AI-driven methods in Engineering

- Conducted optical 3D scans of engine test equipment and turbine blades, processed scan data, and compared real geometries to CAD models for aerodynamic deviation analysis. - Developed a semi-automated workflow to quantify geometry deviations on defined cross-sections. - Prepared CAD models for CFD simulations and coordinated measurement campaigns, results processing, and data transfers with external partners.

- Performed 3D measurements and optical scans, processed the data, and generated CAD models from scan results. - Improved and optimized processes for generating CAD models from scans. - Developed a database for test bench measurement systems and data processing. - Finalized measurement templates for series measurements using optical metrology systems.

Assisted PhD research on reducing piston seal friction via surface structure optimization: - Conducted lab experiments on microstructured seal surfaces - Created MATLAB scripts for post-processing and automated diameter analysis from microscopy data - Designed and 3D printed piston components and custom test stands
