Head of our Mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa regional transport team with the role to develop, own, drive and execute our regional transport strategy in alignment with all 28 countries

As Global head of DHL Supply Chain Automotive sector I was asked to re-establish and deliver improved divisional growth and business development for our automotive sector. I set about rewriting an outdated global strategy for the sector and re-aligning all regional business leaders towards the new way of working.

My general management responsibilities put me on the Central European DHL Supply Chain management board, leading our businesses in Switzerland as well as managing the a medium sized global freight forwarding company (ITG). I continued to own all of our regional lead logistics provider activities as well as all international supply chain management business for the divisions automotive sector.

My role, was to improve our Mainland European transportation operational efficiency and effectiveness across all sectors; retail, consumer, healthcare, automotive, technology and our industrial sector. Within this role I held operational matrix management responsibilities in 11 countries managing all cost of sale

In 2006 I asked to take on more responsibilities within the group on top of the areas or responsibility held between 2003 and 2006. I was given the opportunity to take on the additional responsibility of managing all the Central European business activity of our automotive sector within DHL Supply Chain.

Director of our Ford of Europe LLP and Automotive ISC (Exel a DPDHL company) As the director for the Ford of Europe LLP operations my key role was set at driving total logistic cost reductions and increasing service deliveries related to all European inbound to manufacturing for Ford of Europe.

Director European operation for FX Coughlin (A DPDHL Company) I started off as a facility manager in 1997 but soon gained promotion to European operations Director in 1998 (Geschaeftsfuehrer). My role included leading and coaching a team of over 130 staff in the operational execution of our European automotive business activity. Within the role I had full company profit and loss responsibilities. Project implementation and launch management for all new EU customer solutions.

Commercial Operations Manger TNT European Express HUB As the commercial operations at Köln-Bonn airport I was Responsible for the commercial aspects of all material and information movement through a worldwide express delivery solution. Accountable for over 70 staff while running a 24-hour express operation, including the implementation of all fall-back programmes and contingency planning.

Assistant procurement manager I completed my service within military with the position of assistant manager to the contract officer in Brüggen. I worked for the Royal Air Force, on behalf of the Secretary of State for defence, in terms of contract procurement
