I had the pleasure of co-founding and co-leading JUSTADDSUGAR as Managing Partner, from a bold vision and humble beginnings—sleeping in the office for six months and showering at the gym—to now standing at over 100 employees and achieving eight-figure revenue, with continued growth. Now a multiple award-winning agency, working with top-tier clients like Volkswagen, Adidas, Meta, Generali, DHL, Otto, Freeletics, HSV, Audi, Mini, Porsche, Google, McDonald’s, Kongstar, Rewe, Tesla, Telekom and many more!

I had the time of my life creating one of the hottest restaurants in town. My team and I faced countless obstacles during the two-year building process, from navigating government restrictions to managing a lengthy construction process. But we never lost sight of our vision for the restaurant, we poured our hearts and souls into every aspect of the restaurant, from choosing the perfect chairs, staff to creating the most Instagram-worthy dishes. We personally handpicked everything.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by the idea of turning thoughts into reality - I knew technology could help. This concept evolved into the idea of a smart mirror that could talk and display relevant information, such as news, weather, emails, and to-do lists, during routine tasks like brushing your teeth. Our mission was to create smart home products that didn’t just enhance convenience but enriched the user’s experience and deepened their connection to their living spaces. I

I was working around technology, learning how the internet was evolving, from 3G to 4G, and understanding how it was speeding up the world. What started as a simple high school gig ended up lasting more than five years. It was more than just a job; it was a front-row seat to every new technology piece out there.

Growing up, the only industry I was familiar with was the restaurant business, like many other Vietnamese refugees in Germany (and around the globe). I spent the first years growing up in a refugee camp, seeing my parents hustling their way from washing dishes to becoming waiters and living under the restaurant. To buying their first DSLR camera (which laid the creative foundation in me - I guess) and working their way up.
