PFAN is a multilateral public private partnership initiated by the Climate Technology Initiative and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Responsibilities: projects initiating, structuring, fundraising, project management, project coordinating, consulting clients in developing projects in line with the requirements of development institutions, investors, and banks.

Responsibilities: structuring projects, fundraising, investor relations, government relations, commercial affairs liaison, project management, cost and schedule control, contractors liaison. Achievements: secured financing from the Development Bank of Kazakhstan for the construction of the petrochemical plant in Shymkent. The plant is commissioned and started operations.

-Operational/Project management roles: project coordinator/team leader for Lender's Engineer scope for Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Eurasian Development Bank, etc. Core projects: Baskan Small Hydropower Plants (10.6 and 4.3 MW), Construction of a plant for the production of vegetable oil, etc.

GCF Readiness Program is a funding program to enhance country ownership and access to the Fund. Responsibilities: Support the Project team in negotiations and collaboration with NDA and GCF; assist in drafting and reviewing the Agreement on Immunities and Privileges and support in negotiating the agreement between NDA and GCF; consulting entities in structuring applications to obtain direct access to GCF funds.

-Sales role, originating and developing new business lines; -Operational/Project management roles: project coordinator/team leader for Lender's Engineer scope. Core projects: Baskan Small Hydropower Plants (10.6 and 4.3 MW), Construction of Zhylga --Solar Plant in South Region (20 MW), Construction of Expo Wind Plant in Akmola Region (100 MW), Construction of Ereimentau Wind Plant in Akmola Region (50 MW), Construction of a ferrosilicon-aluminum plant in Karaganda.

Responsibilities: -Administrative and sales roles; -Operational/Project management roles: project coordinator/team leader for Lender's Engineer scope - technical expertise/DD and financial technical control scope for Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Eurasian Development Bank, etc. Achievements: originating and closing processes for obtaining PMC license for the company, closed transactions for PMC role for the brownfield petrochemical plant in Shymkent.

Responsibilities: -Investor relations, financial institutions, and lenders liaison from the Borrower's side - originating, structuring projects, financial modeling supporting banks during due diligence. -Government authorities liaison; Achievements: closed transactions for obtaining Samruk- Kazyna JSC guarantee issued in favor of China Development Bank; closed transaction with China Development Bank ($2bln lending facility).

Responsibilities: -designing and further execution of company's corporate finance policies; -originating and structuring transactions, organizing due diligence processes; -Project finance. Achievements and closed transactions: acquisition of shares in the sulphuric acid plant project; financial closure (Eurasian Development Bank). The plant is operating.

Responsibilities: Project finance issues from the Lenders side - originating, structuring projects, leading due diligence processes, presentation of the projects before the investment committee, Board of Directors, and other relevant authorities from the Lenders side, financial closure of transactions from the Lenders side. Core closed transactions: Moinak Hydropower Plant (300MW), Construction of 500 kV North-South Transmission Line (National Power Grid System).

The mission of MPA program is to provide mid/senior level practitioners with academic and professional education which will inform their working practices and raise the standard of governance in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The Program schedule involves an evening/weekend learning format which is designed to help students integrate their studies with personal and/or professional responsibilities.
