• Involved in making super-soft hydrogels using microfluidic droplet devices for various applications: stimulating stem cells, calibrating devices, measuring environmental forces, drug delivery • Aided in research on cellular heterogeneity and its effect on stem cell differentiation and regenerative engineering

• Participated in groundbreaking neuroscience and psychiatry research at Harvard Medical School’s affiliate hospital • Applied the fundamentals of neuroimaging and diagnostic neuroscience for bipolar and schizophrenic patients; attended fitness projects for the psychiatry patients with heart disorders • Performed matric assessments and attended research team meetings

• Received intensive training in General Surgery, Emergency Service, and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation • Assisted in daily in-patient rotations, and in surgical, emergency room and physical therapy clinics • Aided in cases ranging from a mild fever to a car crash case in the emergency ward and observed numerous surgeries, such as plastic surgery, gynecology, and oncology

• Assisted the development of a new “Drosophila Melongaster” model of sepsis to recapitulate the clinical course of sepsis, explored its relation to impaired mobility, metabolic disturbance, and changes in lifespan • Aided Professor Kaynar in the innovative alternative therapy method of exercise, through simulations with fruit flies • This model will open new avenues for researchers to test hypotheses about the crosstalk between inflammatory and metabolic pathways

• Worked as a translator to the Psychologist and Psychiatrist Team from Harvard University, invited by the New Beginnings Association and The Ministry of Family and Social Politics • Presented the team’s work at the Hisar TEDx conference
