Dr. Mohamed Abdelaal

Currently, I lead the research in the DFG project “ComNSense”. In ComNSense, we seek to develop energy-efficient crowd-sensing methods for automatic indoor mapping. So far, I produced three high-quality papers (e.g. ACM UbiComp, ACM MobiQuitous). Moreover, I supervised three Master students and two doctoral students. Finally, I teach several courses such as distributed systems, security in location-based service, and mobile computing lab.

The position involved doing research in the real of QoS management in wireless sensor networks. During this period, I Received my doctoral degree in Computer Science. To this end, I published 12 conference papers (e.g. ACM IPSN, IEEE ICC, IEEE ISSNIP) and three journal articles (e.g. Sensors, IJDSN). Moreover, I supervised one Master student.

In this position, I tutored several courses, including digital signal processing, communication theory, integrated circuits, electrical circuits.

During this position, I received my Master degree in Electrical Engineering. I published two conference papers and one journal article. Moreover, I tutored several courses, including solid state devices, electronic circuits, digital circuits, digital communication, satellite communication, and microprocessor design.
