After the first and successful delivery of the new configuration ecosystem, I was offered to join our department head in the headquarter as a software architect to help further in setting up the foundation and the architectural guidelines of S&B 4th product generation (in addition to continuing supporting the teams working on shared software components).

After two years of working at MADAR Consulting within a startup culture, I decided to move on in my career and join a much larger company and to learn more about structure, better organization, and business stability. I was able to find the proper position as a technical lead in a newly established development center in Tunis for the German multinational company Scheidt & Bachmann (S&B). And, I was tasked mainly to lead and work on the creation of its new configuration management system (a.k.a Houston).

While working on bringing the MMT solution to light, we found out that a patent from Google was published and target the same approach we are inventing. To keep our work going, we needed to focus on the B2B market segment, and therefore a joint venture was made with MADAR Consulting: a company that specialized in building Big Data solutions. MMT solution became MADAR ITS, and I became the company technical leader.

For my end of study project, I decided to pursue a project of my making. The idea of the project was born during my participation in a hackathon organized by IBM in December 2014. Initially, the idea was about finding a solution for automatically localizing the potholes we are suffering from in Tunisia using just the sensors in the motorist's smartphone and with crowdsourcing Big Data platform.

To strengthen my development skillset, I engaged myself in several professional projects as a freelancer in parallel with my engineering degree studies. The assignments I got helped me in gaining practical insights and enriching the already acquired theoretical knowledge from my studies.
