I was involved in the maximization of ethane recovery at the ADNOC Gas project. My responsibility in this project was to design the substation layout. This work involves coordination with team members in the department and across departments Civil, HVAC, Fire and safety, Intrumentation and Control, for incorporating the requirements, following the functional requirements, norms, and ADNOC standards and finalizing the layout.

I started as a hardware engineer Prepare single line, schematic, bill of material, cabinet layout drawings in eplan. Siemens S7 300/400/1500 PLC based automation. Implementation of safety as per risk assessment. Coordination with vendor for cabinet manufacturing. Then, I shift to Drive Engineering Group Sizing of Drive system, Motors, Transformer, Switchgear. Sinamics G120/S120 and ABB ACS 800/880. Commissioning of drive system. Troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Cost optimisation.
