I am a Process Engineer working in the field of Chemical/Process Engineering for more than a decade and it has been an exhilarating journey till now. I am currently working in Oil and Gas sector for clients like British Petroleum at Worley Cologne (Germany). Most Projects deal with Optimization, troubleshooting, planning, basic , detailed, execute Engineering. Worley is one of the biggest company operating worldwide in 51 countries in the field of Chemical, Oil and Gas. My day to day Job involves tasks like: 1) Process Design 2) Process Calculations, like: Pump, Safety Valve, Heat-Exchanger, Pressure drop etc. 3) Technical Documentations: Basis of Design, Process Descriptions, Control Philosophy etc, 4) P&ID and PFD Development and getting the CAD work done. 5) Preparation of pipe classes, line list, media list etc, 6) Usage of tools like: Aspen, Conval, HTRI, Comos 7) Dealing with Clients and manufacturers. 8) Risk Analysis lke: HAZOP, LOPA etc,
