• Evaluation of patient skin and eye lens dose during fluoroscopy guided interventional angiography procedures. • Characterisation of various radiation dosimeters in high and low energy radiation modalities. • Design and testing a novel radiation dosimetry system using fibre detectors (particularly for euro-interventional radiology procedures) • Survey of the exposure parameters commonly used during clinical interventions and evaluation of their effects on patient skin and eye lens dose.

• Characterisation of MOSkin (semiconductor) detector for medical application • Proposing a new application for the MOSkin detector as an accurate in-vivo real-time dose monitoring system in the measurement of patient skin and eye lens dose. • Design and fabrication of a radiation protector layer for patient eye lens. • Design and fabrication of an anthropomorphic human with more similar tissue substitute materials to actual organs in terms of attenuation characteristics.

• EEG data acquisition and analysis of autonomic and EEG patterns during meditation • Correlating the EEG patterns (Gamma band) during prayer and meditation.

• Simulation of the Plasma Focus DENA by MCNP4c. • Investigation of the photon intensity emitted from the Plasma Focus Dena. • Proposing a potential application for Plasma Focus DENA system as a diagnostic imaging system.
