As a SAP BI Consultant my responsibilities cover all the areas of BW/BI Module of SAP which includes Extraction, Modelling and Reporting. Additional any SAP ABAP requirements that arise in the BI Module are taken care by me which includes DataSource Enhancements in Extraction, Start, End Routines in Modelling and Customer Exits in Reporting.

• Data Extraction from Source (Oracle) using Pro* C scripts. • Loading Data from Landing to Staging and then to Target for through batches. • Scheduling batches in CRON (UNIX Scheduler). • Monitoring the EDW application through Control-M Scheduler. • Fixing jobs that fail in the Control-M in agreement with SLA timings.

• Migrating Oracle PL/SQL code to equivalent Teradata Stored Procedures. • Testing the Stored Procedures. • Writing Fastload scripts for Loading data into Teradata tables from flat files.

• Creating Tables, Constraints, Triggers, Stored Procedures and Functions using PL/SQL. • Writing SQL queries for Forms-Reports. • Testing and Maintenance of PL/SQL code. • Loading data using SQL* Loader. • Writing SQL queries and stored procedure, functions using PL/SQL. • Testing and Maintenance.
