Working on development of the world harmonized light-duty test cycle (WLTC) within the UNECE-GRPE (working party on pollution and energy - Transport Programme). Main responsibilities: • data analysis on ground transport activity data, • statistical analysis, • analysis of typical driving patterns, • design of candidate test cycles for Euro 6 Type approval tests, • support the implementation of the Unit's activities in the area of vehicle emissions.

Modelling and simulation of catalytic emission control systems Developing kinetic computer models for automotive catalyst systems • Performing SCAT(simulated catalyst activity test) experiments • Developing reaction mechanism of pollutant abatement from automotive exhausts • Validation of the computer models using Emission Test Cycles (ESC, NRTC, FTP, WHTC, WHSC)

Quantum mechanical modeling of chemical surface reactions in storage catalytic converters. The aim of my work was to develop elementary reaction steps and determine kinetic parameters for the NOx storage reaction mechanism by means of density functional theory (DFT).
