Moreno Nurchi

I am Moreno Nurchi, a self-motivated mechanical engineer with a passion for developing devices and improving manufacturability of components. I develop devices and equipment from concept to serial production, working closely with other teams and external stakeholders. I love to work within a committed team. I am used to 3D-prototyping, also taking care of planning and documentation.

As a designer within a consultancy firm, I supported the Clients. I also trained young engineers. The most important client I worked for is: IMA S.p.A. Life division (Pharma) As a member of the R&D team I did : - iterative evaluation and improvement of the design - working on prototypes and verifying their behavior - scalable modelling (CREO 3) - managing models from top assembly to drawing - managing bill of materials - fitting devices in very small spaces

I worked within Multiprojecta, a consultancy firm of proactive engineers. It develops solutions for plastic sorting, machinery, packaging. The most important clients I worked for: GIMA TT (Tobacco and Packaging) I did: - working on wrapper and overwrapper machines - customizing for special projects - modelling CAD (Pro/E) - managing bill of materials We improved machine speed, machine safety, product quality. MODULA S.p,A. (vertical warehouse) I did: - sheetmetal modelling - stress analysis with AnSys
